Care & Maintenance
Pool Care
- Pool Care
An inground pool is a long-term investment. Regular attention to water balance, surface condition, and seasonal transitions ensures both longevity and a consistent experience throughout the year.
Water Chemistry
Maintaining balanced water chemistry is the foundation of pool care. pH, alkalinity, sanitizer, and calcium hardness should be tested regularly throughout the swimming season.
Imbalanced water can damage finishes, equipment, and tile lines over time. We recommend working with a qualified pool service for routine testing and adjustment.
Surface & Tile Care
Brush the walls, steps, and waterline tile weekly to prevent algae and scale build-up. Skim the surface and empty skimmer baskets regularly to support proper circulation.
Avoid abrasive cleaners on coping and tile. A soft brush with a pool-safe cleaner is sufficient for routine maintenance.
Equipment
Filters, pumps, and heaters require periodic inspection. Clean or backwash the filter as recommended by the manufacturer, and have all equipment professionally serviced annually.
Opening & Closing
Spring opening and autumn closing are critical moments in the life of the pool. Both should be performed by a qualified professional to protect plumbing, equipment, and finishes through the off-season.
Where applicable, a properly fitted winter cover protects the pool from debris and freeze damage.
